Steve has over 25 years of experience working in the SALT arena. A Certified Public Accountant licensed in Texas, he spent 10 years in public accounting – split between Arthur Andersen and two large, local CPA firms – prior to starting his own sales tax consulting firm. After 15 years building his practice, Steve joined Clarus Partners to expand his offerings in sales tax audit defense, refund claims, consulting, and tax compliance. Steve has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Master of Science in Taxation from the University of Texas at Arlington.
